Geoffrey Smith
Technician
Geoff received his BSc in Microbiology (2002) from California State Univ. Los Angeles where he is currently a graduate student (MSc in Biology). He works in the PEL and in the laboratory of Prof. Ray Deshaies at Caltech as a Research Technician with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. The focus of his graduate research is in method development for the analysis of ubiquitinated substrates as well as components of the ubiquitin proteasome system. In addition he enjoys running, walking, and working in his garden.
